Chris McKay/WireImageIndie-pop act Lucius, whose members Holly Laessig and Jess Wolfe serve as backing singers on Roger Waters‘ Us + Them tour, just released a new album this past Friday titled Nudes that features a guest appearance by the founding Pink Floyd singer/bassist. Waters appears on the closing track, a cover of the Leadbelly classic “Goodnight, Irene,” and now a video of Roger actually recording the tune with the Lucius singers has premiered on the Brooklyn, New York-based group’s official YouTube channel.

The black-and-white clip captures the trio laying down the tune live directly to vinyl at a vintage Voice-O-Graph booth located at New York City’s famous Electric Lady Studios. Waters is seen strumming an acoustic guitar and singing, as Laessig and Wolfe add strong harmonies.

In addition, you can listen the entire Nudes album, a collection of acoustic songs Lucius recorded at Electric Lady, on the group’s YouTube channel.

Holly and Jess also contributed backing vocals to Roger’s 2017 studio album, Is This the Life We Really Want? Waters will resume his Us + Them trek with a lengthy European leg that kicks off with an April 13-14 engagement in Barcelona, Spain. Check out all of his forthcoming tour dates art RogerWaters.com.
