U2 released “Ahimsa” in November. The song’s title is Sanskrit for “nonviolence.”

“Performing with U2 in Mumbai, in a way, was celebrating Mahatma Gandhi and his world revered faith, Ahimsa,” Rahman says. “We are touched by U2’s stand against injustice, for women empowerment and for goodness in this world.”

U2’s most recent album is 2017’s Songs of Experience.
