Elton John tops the list, thanks to his ongoing Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour, which launched in September 2018 and currently is plotted out through December 2020.
At #2 are The Rolling Stones, whose 2019 No Filter tour ran from late June until late August.
Queen, who hit the road in the States with ex-American Idol singer Adam Lambert for The Rhapsody Tour, are #3 on the tally.
Billy Joel, who continues to play a monthly show at New York’s Madison Square Garden as well as select concerts in other cities, land at #4 on the list.
Also on the top 10 are Bob Seger at #6 and Paul McCartney at #7. In November, Seger and his Silver Bullet Band finished up their Roll Me a farewell tour.
“The touring landscape in 2019 was dominated by Elton John and The Rolling Stones,” says StubHub exec Jeff Poirier. “The legends they are, fans flocked to see them throughout the entire year as they did with so many legacy rock acts.”
